
A healthy breakfast seems more
important on a cold winter day! I tend to alternate between protein-based mornings (for example, boiled egg and toast) and carb-based mornings (oatmeal or other whole-grain cereal, home-made breakfast muffins, etc).
Today's selection: oatmeal sweetened with a spoonful of homemade applesauce and topped with a handful of fresh blueberries. Oh, and a steaming mug of tea, of course!
