Garden Update, Aug 29 '10

We have tiny cukes! I had given them up as a loss, but suddenly we have about eight or so little cukes coming along nicely.

Tomatoes are still producing. It wasn't a great summer for them - with the unpredictable torrential rains and grey skies - but they steadily produced at least a few each week, and look to continue thru September.

Our lettuces never really took off, which rather surprises me. But perhaps Septembers cooler sunshine will bring them around.

Now I am looking forward to the fall crop of strawberries :)
