Butterflies and bees are beautiful and needful additions to any garden...so this year I am starting some flowers as seeds...and some as "starts" from the nursery. Having blooms a bit earlier lefts my spirits and attracts my lovely pollinators! As is is now early May (hard to believe with the cold temps we've been having!) I will put start my herbs as well...which are also beautiful and useful and attractive to the butterflies...
