Fresh Cranberry Sauce

My recipe is simple: a cup or two of fresh or frozen cranberries, an orange cut into sections, and up to 1/2 cup sugar (if needed).

For this batch, I used frozen berries and let them simmer, covered, with the orange slices. After all was softened, I tasted and added a wee bit of sugar. I let this all simmer together a few minutes longer and served.

It it bright, tangy, and delicious with a nice roasted turkey or chicken!
