New eBook Project....

I am so fortunate in my friends! They support and sustain me, share my joys and sorrows, share their joys and sorrows, and allow me to practice being a better person on them :) And once dear friend, "rediscovered on Facebook", is James Pepper. Pep and I attended the same schools in our little town - altho he was a year ahead of me. but it wasn't until we "remet" that our friendship really took off. Why? His Bible project!

Pep has made a hand-scribed, illuminated Bible. Yep, all by himself, with paper and pen and ink and colored pencils....no computers or other machines involved! He has spent years working on this amazing project - and I have been blessed with hi-res scanned images...which I have been very slowly turning into ebooks. And then I was inspired to try something different...

I noted that some of the borders and other design motifs would make lovely cross-stitch and embroidery patterns...and so I am now knee deep in this new and very exciting project! An ebook of borders and motifs patterns will be released in about 2 weeks!! So I am busy converting hand-drawn images into graphed stitch charts - one square at a time, writing instructions and intro text, making "how to" illustrations, and laying it all out into a draft InDesign file. Whew! This ebook is a true labor of love - and I can't wait to share it!
