Wild Flowers - Bluets

These pretty flowers crop up all over in wooded areas around here in late Spring...and knowing that saved us on Mother's Day morning, when the wee nieces wanted flowers to go with mommy's breakfast in bed! We quickly ran up the road to a pocket wood and cut a few blooms (leaving many more for the bees and butterflies).



Pretty wild flowers, picked by one's child and carefully carried in a jar of water are a charming touch, no?
